Dry process lithium battery separator stretching production line
The lithium-ion battery separator is a high-molecular functional material with nanometer-sized micropores. Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries have the characteristics of high specific energy, long cycle life, no memory effect, as well as safety, reliability, and the ability to charge and discharge quickly. They meet the major development needs in energy and environmental protection of various countries nowadays, and their usage is increasing rapidly in various industries. The separators produced by the bidirectional stretching process have higher safety compared to longitudinal stretching separators. They have better thermal stability and current interruption performance, higher ion permeability, superior performance in large current charging and discharging, longer service life, and are suitable for the manufacturing of lithium-ion batteries with larger capacity such as power batteries.
The main function of the dry film membrane stretching production line is to combine the film sheets from the unwinding frame on the first roller, and then pass through the preheating roller for heating. Through the speed difference between the front and rear rollers in the stretching zone, the film sheets are stretched longitudinally, shaped, trimmed and wound up.
The online heat treatment of the materials does not require the oven step in the old process. After extrusion and compounding, it can directly enter the stretching machine.
In the new process of the dry film diaphragm stretching production line, the unwinding diameter can reach 1000mm (four layers), and it can be 32 layers. In the old process, the unwinding diameter was only 550mm (four layers), and it could only reach 20 layers.
