I. Raw materials
In industry, ethanol is generally produced by starch fermentation or ethylene direct hydration. Ethanol by fermentation was developed on the basis of wine making. The raw materials of fermentation mainly include grain raw materials (wheat, corn, sorghum, rice, millet, oats, etc.), potato raw materials (cassava, sweet potato, potato, etc.), sugar raw materials (beet, sugarcane, waste molasses, sisal, etc.) and cellulose raw materials (sawdust, straw, etc.).
II. Process flow
1. Grain raw materials
2. Potato raw materials
3. Sugary ingredients
4. Cellulose raw materials
5. Synthesis
Ethylene direct hydration method, that is, under the conditions of heating, pressurization and the presence of catalysts, ethylene and water are directly reacted to produce ethanol:
CH2═CH2 + H─OH→C2H5OH (the reaction is carried out in two steps, the first step is to produce organic mercury compounds in water-tetrahydrofuran solution with mercury acetate and other mercury salts, and then reduce with sodium borohydride) The raw material in this method - ethylene can be obtained in large quantities from petroleum pyrolysis gas, low cost, large production, so that a lot of food can be saved, so the development is rapid.
It can also be converted into syngas by coal chemical industry, directly synthesized or produced by hydrogenation of acetic acid to industrial ethanol.
III. Quality standards
According to the needs of customers, the ethanol production plant can meet the relevant standards (GB10343-2008 special, excellent, general, GB18350-2013, GB678-2008) or other international standards.
IV. Remarks
The company can undertake alcohol, chemical, pharmaceutical, DDGS and other turnkey projects.
