Superphosphate, also known as ordinary superphosphate, referred to as general calcium. It is made of sulfuric acid decomposition phosphate ore or calcium carbonate and phosphate ore sintering, often in powder or granular form, and can be used as raw material for phosphate fertilizer and compound fertilizer.

Granular superphosphate production line


Superphosphate, also known as ordinary superphosphate, referred to as general calcium. It is made of sulfuric acid decomposition phosphate ore or calcium carbonate and phosphate ore sintering, often in powder or granular form, and can be used as raw material for phosphate fertilizer and compound fertilizer.


The company's granular superphosphate production line is to grind up to 99 mg phosphate rock and sulfuric acid reaction crystal, after concentrated press filtration as raw materials. When the raw material is just produced, the particle size is less than 3mm, and it will agglomerate during storage and transportation. The particle size distribution range is wide, the water content is 13%, and the PH value is 3.5.


Granular superphosphate production line mainly includes crushing, granulation, drying, cooling, screening and other links, the final product particle size 3-5mm, moisture content 6-8%. The main crusher, drum granulator (or disc granulator), single drum dryer, single drum cooler, vibrating screen and other equipment. There are mainly 20-30,000 tons/year, 50,000 tons/year, 100,000 tons/year and other different scale production lines.

Outstanding advantage

1, compared with granular and powdered superphosphate, it is not easy to react with soil, easy to be absorbed by plants, and increase fertilizer efficiency.


2. Reduce the contact area between phosphorus and soil and reduce the chance of phosphoric acid being fixed by soil.


3, easy to mechanical application, improve work efficiency.


4, after the dryer, the cooling machine, the particle shape changes greatly, the shape is good.


Process flow

(1) Feed crushing

The superphosphate forklift with a wide range of particle size is fed to the silo and sent to the crusher by belt for crushing.


(2) Granulation

The crushed superphosphate is transported by the belt conveyor to the disk pelletizer or the roller pelletizer for pelletizing.


(3) Drying

The superphosphate particles enter the single-cylinder rotary dryer for drying, and the moisture content is 6-8%. The particulate matter in the exhaust gas is removed to the atmosphere by the bag dust collector.


(4) Cooling

The semi-finished granular superphosphate after drying is cooled by a single-barrel rotary cooling machine.


(5) Screening

The material of the cooling machine is coarse screened first, and the coarse material is returned to the raw material belt machine as raw material. The material under the screen passes through the bucket elevator and then enters the screening machine for fine screening, the sifting material is regarded as qualified product, and the sifting fine material is fed into the feeding belt machine as raw material.
