Lime shaft kiln uses the principle of heat exchange between material weight down and hot gas up for lime firing. At present, there are many lime firing equipment and methods, and the production line with rotary kiln as the main equipment is the most common application, but the investment is large and the area is wide. Many owners after investigation, due to lack of funds are discouraged. Low cost, safety and environmental protection of small production capacity of active lime production line equipment is almost blank. In view of this, in 2017, a customer in Nepal wanted to purchase a set of equipment for lime firing, although many manufacturers were investigated, but it was delayed. When I came into contact with our company, all worries were solved. After a short communication, I soon decided to order a full set of equipment for shaft kiln lime production line. The two sides signed a supply contract in December 2017, and the equipment installation and commissioning were completed in November 2018.

The production line has a designed production capacity of 100TPD, stable and reliable operation, environmental protection and energy saving, and a high degree of automation.

II. Solution

The supply equipment is vertical kiln, with a volume of 200 cubic meters, and centrifugal fan, cyclone dust collection, chimney, rod feeder, jaw crusher and other equipment. The production line has the following advantages:

1. The construction location of the production line is the open space on the hillside, the area is limited, the difference between the terrain and the height is large, the material conveying, flue gas emission, and the equipment layout are reasonable and compact, otherwise it can not meet the production needs.

2. Compared with other limestone firing processes, the production line is more energy efficient.

3, the production line limestone into the kiln before the set of jaw crusher for crushing, can avoid the limestone block is too large or particle size difference is too large burning, not only stable product quality, but also energy saving.

4, compared with rotary kiln, shaft kiln limestone firing process is simple, less moving parts of equipment, low power consumption.
