Vertical cooler is a vertical cooling device developed for cooling high temperature clinker on the basis of the introduction and absorption of foreign advanced technology, with high heat exchange efficiency, less wear parts, no waste gas and other characteristics, suitable for the use of terrain height difference configuration, can be used in building materials, chemical industry calcining system. This type of equipment can significantly improve the secondary air temperature into the kiln, play a role in energy saving and consumption reduction, and belong to energy saving and environmental protection products.

Working principle
The material generated after calcination by rotary kiln flows into a vertical cooler equipped with refractory materials. The cross-section of the cooler is square, in which a central cooling hood and a sub-chamber cooling hood are uniformly distributed. The hood is provided with a pipe connected with an external fan. The material is piled up in the cooler and covered on the hood, forming a certain thickness of the material layer. The cooling air is blown in by the external fan, enters the hood through the air chamber, and comes into contact with the high-temperature material after escaping from the hood to complete the heat exchange. The material cooled by air gradually drains the cooler under the action of the motor vibration discharger. Calcined as secondary air.
