Feldspar contains potassium, sodium, calcium aluminate minerals, can be used as raw materials for ceramics, glass, enamel production. At the beginning of 2018, a customer in India wanted to build a grinding production line because of the feldspar grinding demand, but compared with limestone, feldspar has high hardness and high wear resistance, although after various investigations, there is always no good solution. After contacting our company, the company's technical and business personnel quickly made grinding plans for customers based on the easy grinding performance of customers' raw materials and product fineness requirements, which were well received and recognized by customers. In March 2018, the two sides signed a supply contract, and in December 2019, the equipment installation and commissioning were completed and put into production up to standard.
The project consists of two feldspar grinding production lines, each of which adopts a series grinding scheme of two ball mills. One mill in the production line is open circuit coarse grinding, and the other is closed circuit fine grinding of combined powder separator, to meet the production needs of customers.
II. Solution
The project consists of two feldspar powder grinding production lines. According to the requirements of feldspar grillability and product fineness, the following solutions are adopted to meet customer needs:
1) According to the characteristics of feldspar hardness and grainability indicators, the process of series grinding of two ball mills is selected, medium and long grinding is selected for coarse grinding, and tube grinding is selected for fine grinding. The combination of thickness and fine is clear and the division of labor is clear to meet the needs of feldspar grinding.
2) Open circuit grinding process is selected for rough grinding. After grinding, the materials directly enter the elevator into the warehouse for tube grinding and fine grinding. The process is simple and applicable, which not only realizes the requirements of rough grinding process but also saves investment.
3) The closed-circuit process of tube grinding is selected, which is mainly realized through the tube mill and the combined powder separator. The grinding materials are fed into the powder separator by the bucket elevator. After powder selection, the coarse powder is grinned back through the screw conveyor and chain conveyor, and the fine powder is stored and transported as the finished product to ensure the fineness.
4) The project adopts a combined classifier to achieve feldspar powder sorting and particle size control. The classifier can control the fineness of feldspar powder products by adjusting the blades and controlling the valve opening of the circulating fan, so as to sort the finished products in time and increase the output of the mill.
5) The overall process design is simple and applicable, and the equipment layout is reasonable and compact, which not only meets the production demand, but also reduces the land occupation area and saves investment.
III. Project site
