I. Project overview

Production scale: Annual production of 2000 tons of battery grade lithium carbonate


Service scope: including raw material storage and transportation, batching, mixing, granulation, calcination, ball milling, non-standard parts, electrical automation control system and other process design, civil design, plant planning, equipment supply, equipment installation and commissioning, after-sales training and other one-stop technical services.


II. Project description


The battery grade lithium carbonate production line built in Yichun, the main raw material is lemica, the main process is batching, granulation, calcination, grinding and back-end refining. After more than half a year of technical communication and experiments, the project determined the process. When producing lithium carbonate from lemica, many enterprises directly calcined the powder into the kiln, which is easy to occur kiln formation and uneven calcination in the later stage. In this project, lemica is pelleted first and then entered into the kiln to effectively solve the situation of kiln formation. The process design and civil engineering design of the whole project in the early stage of roasting are completed by our company, and it is our company's technical strength to impress customers and promote cooperation.


III. Process flow

The main raw materials are lepidolite and the corresponding auxiliary materials.


The process is: raw material ingredients → mixing → granulation → calcination → grinding.


(1) Feeding part


This production line uses lepidolite and auxiliary materials I, II, III, dust collection powder.


The loading truck lifts the tonnage bags of lepidolite powder and the small bags of auxiliary materials I, II and III to the top of the distribution bin, removes the bags manually, puts the materials into the small bin, and sets a bag dust collector to dust and recover the powder-like dust collector. Set up another trolley to unload from the car to the storage area.


(2) Ingredients


The four mixing silos of lepidolite powder and auxiliary materials I, II and III and the dust collection silos are equipped with weighing sensors to weigh the material in the silos, and the feeding amount is adjusted by the double helix metering and weighing control system under the silos. After the various materials are discharged, they enter a FU chain conveyor and send the materials to the mixing mixer.


(3) mixing granulation part


A JS750 horizontal mixing mixer was used for water mixing and three pelletizing machines were used for ball making. The material from the FU chain conveyor enters the mixing mixer for full mixing and adding the appropriate amount of water at the same time. After mixing evenly, open the pneumatic gate under the mixer, and the material is discharged into the elevator.


The mixed material is sent to three silos by FU chain conveyor, and a granulator is arranged under each silo. The granulator works intermittently, and the scraper is arranged in the machine to avoid the adhesion of materials inside the machine. The produced particles are put into the buffer bin under the machine, and the belt weighing feeder is set under the bin, which is continuously fed by the large-angle belt conveyor to the kiln for production.


(4) calcined part


The material from the high Angle belt conveyor is uniformly entered into the rotary kiln by the locking valve and the kiln tail feeding pipe.


Rotary kiln has a certain slope, with the continuous rotation of the kiln, the material from the high-end to the low-end slowly forward. Natural gas is injected from the kiln head, burned in the kiln, the heat is absorbed by the material, the material has physical and chemical changes at high temperature, is calcined into the finished product, and then discharged from the rotary kiln.


The smoke chamber is set at the end of the kiln, and the large particle dust carried by the smoke falls into the ash hopper at the lower part of the smoke chamber, and the returned material at the end of the kiln enters the distribution bin and re-enters the process. The side of the smoke chamber is provided with an outlet, and the exhaust gas from the kiln tail enters the dust collection system.


A four-channel natural gas burner is used to provide heat for the rotary kiln. Full combustion, high thermal strength, has a good energy saving effect.


(5) Wet grinding part


A wet ball mill is installed at the discharge port of the kiln. The high-temperature material enters the ball mill, and at the same time, water is added to the grinding rink. The material is ground into slurry under the high temperature environment inside the mill, and the leaching reaction occurs, and then discharged from the mill and enters the next process. The steam produced by the evaporation of water in the mill is sucked into the kiln by the negative pressure of the kiln head.
