Recently, our company successfully customized and completed the equipment manufacturing, delivery and installation for the calcium carbide crushing and lifting project for the client. These equipment will be used in the acetylene processing industry at the client's location to meet the increasing industrial demands.

Project Process:
This project consists of a series of meticulously designed steps: starting with the feed from a loader, followed by a buffer hopper, a vibrating feeder, a coarse jaw crusher, a large-angle belt conveyor, a fine jaw crusher, a chain plate elevator, and ending at the reaction chamber. During this process, there are also key steps such as the transportation of materials through the large silo, the re-vibration feeder and the belt conveyor, as well as the purification by the magnetic separator and the secondary chain plate elevator lifting. At the end, facilities such as a reversible belt conveyor and a dust collector are equipped to ensure the safety and efficiency of the entire production process.
Material Status:
This project mainly deals with calcium carbide (calcium hydride), an inorganic compound with the chemical formula CaC2. As an important basic chemical raw material, it is mainly used to produce acetylene gas. Calcium carbide exists in the form of white crystalline powder, while industrial products are mostly gray-black lumps, and their cross-section color is usually purple or gray. Due to the fact that calcium carbide reacts vigorously with water to produce acetylene and release heat, strict requirements are imposed on production equipment and the environment.
Project progress
This project is a new construction project. Considering that the crushed calcium carbide is directly sent to the subsequent chemical processes after being lifted, and that calcium carbide reacts violently when exposed to water, it is required that the overall design of the workshop be an environment with extremely high explosion-proof standards. Our engineers, with profound knowledge and rich practical experience, worked closely with the client and conducted detailed on-site investigations and planning. Not only did we provide an authoritative design plan, but we also offered solutions to the client's specific needs, thereby winning their trust.
Considering the nature of the project as a general contracting project, in addition to providing core equipment, Zhengmin Machinery is also responsible for the fabrication of silos, non-standard components and steel structures. It adopts on-site production methods, where the customer provides the steel and our company undertakes the installation. This not only saves costs but also enhances flexibility and work efficiency.
At present, the project has been fully installed. Our company has dispatched a team of authoritative engineers to the customer's site to assist in completing all the preparatory work before the commissioning.
