A Russian client delegation recently visited a petrochemical engineering design institute and an equipment manufacturing plant in China to advance discussions on a proposed oil refinery and petrochemical project. The visit brought together the client, process engineers, equipment specialists and project representatives for focused technical and commercial exchanges.

During the engineering meeting, both teams reviewed the preliminary refinery construction plan in detail. Discussions covered the proposed process configuration, plant layout, major equipment selection, utility requirements, safety considerations, construction coordination and the overall project implementation route. The engineers also presented relevant project experience and manufacturing capabilities to help the client evaluate a practical and reliable solution.

The Russian delegation then visited the equipment manufacturing facility to inspect the production environment, fabrication resources and quality-control procedures. The visit enabled the client to better understand how project engineering can be connected with equipment manufacturing, inspection, delivery, installation support and commissioning services.
Following the technical review and factory visit, the participants reached a positive understanding on the direction of cooperation and signed a letter of intent. The document records the willingness of both parties to continue developing the refinery project solution and to move forward with subsequent technical clarification and commercial coordination.
GYF provides integrated support for refinery and petrochemical projects, including process consultation, engineering coordination, equipment manufacturing and procurement, quality inspection, shipment, installation supervision, commissioning assistance and operator training. Each project solution is developed according to the client’s raw materials, target products, planned capacity, site conditions and local requirements.
This visit represents an important step in the cooperation between the Russian client and the Chinese engineering and manufacturing teams. Both parties look forward to turning the agreed project concept into a technically sound, safe and commercially viable refinery solution.
