I. Project background


A sensor component manufacturer in Thailand, in order to improve the quality and production efficiency of sensor raw materials, introduced advanced equipment to meet its unique production needs. Its core demand is to calcinate the water-quenched glass at a strict 500℃ environment, and then achieve 200 goal particle size standards through a fine grinding process. In the entire calcination and grinding process, ensure that no mechanical iron is mixed to ensure the purity of raw materials.


In addition, the initial particle size of the water quenched glass raw materials provided by the customer is controlled between 10-20mm, and the calcination process uses clean and efficient LPG as fuel. After the raw material is ground to 200 mesh, it will be further entered into the air grinding process to achieve finer particle size control. Overall, this production process requires very high precision and purity of equipment, and our company has tailored solutions to meet the needs of customers.

Equipment configuration: 1 φ750×1800mm ceramic mill, 2 φ0.529×4m experimental kilns, and matching LPG combustion and thermocouples


III. Solution


According to the strict demand of Thai manufacturers for the production of sensor raw materials, professional engineers of Henan Zhengkuang Machinery Co., LTD., after careful selection, finally selected the φ0.529×4m experimental kiln and φ750×1800mm ceramic mill as the core equipment.


Mullite castable is carefully laid inside the experimental kiln to ensure the calcining effect and strictly eliminate the mixing of mechanical iron, so as to ensure the purity of raw materials. The kiln is equipped with a variable frequency motor, and the speed range is flexible and adjustable, which can be easily achieved from 1-10rpm. In addition, the kiln body tilt Angle can also be fine-tuned between 3-10% to meet different production requirements. It is particularly worth mentioning that the experimental kiln is also equipped with LPG burners, which can directly use the gasification LPG provided by the customer for efficient calcining. At the same time, thermocouples are installed in the kiln head, kiln and kiln tail to monitor the temperature in the kiln in real time to ensure the safety and stability of the material calcination process.


In terms of ceramic mill, high-quality ceramic lining and ceramic ball with Al2O3 content ≥95% are used, which not only effectively avoids the mixing of mechanical iron, but also improves the durability of the equipment.
