October 2010 Shanxi annual output of 15,000 tons of metal magnesium production line project in the vertical preheater, rotary kiln and kiln tail bag dust collector and other main calcined white firing and kiln tail dust removal 2 sets of equipment systems supplied by Henan Zhengkuang Machinery Co., LTD., and completed the installation and debugging. Equipment safety, high efficiency, energy saving, greatly improve the utilization of resources and production efficiency, all indicators meet industry standards, smooth acceptance.


II. Solution

According to the actual conditions of the new Pijiang magnesium smelting process and ore, the raw fuel used, and the production capacity, Zhengmine machine technicians have conducted on-site exploration and investigation, and issued satisfactory solutions for the raw material reserve, dolomite calcination, and high-temperature flue gas dust removal in the rotary kiln during the production of metal magnesium.


1) Raw material reserve


According to the production usage of half a month, the dolomite storage site is planned, and the ferrosilicon and fluorite storage silos are reasonably arranged. Dolomite is crushed to the required particle size in the mine and stored in the yard after entering the plant. Ferrosilicon and fluorite are directly stored in the warehouse after entering the factory.


2) Dolomite calcination


The project consists of two dolomite calcining production lines, two energy-saving 2.5x40m rotary kilns and two 6-pusher vertical preheaters. The dolomite with qualified particle size is transported by belt to the top silo of the vertical preheater and enters the preheater through the material pipe. The material is heated to more than 800℃ with the high temperature flue gas flowing from the rotary kiln. After falling to the transfer chute, the material is calcined into active calcined white at 1250℃, and then discharged into the cooler. The active calcined white is cooled to below 100 ° C, and the air is preheated to above 600 ° C as the combustion air into the kiln.


3) kiln tail dust removal


Choose 2 large cloth bag dust collector. The high-temperature flue gas produced by the combustion of rotary kiln, after heat exchange with dolomite in the preheater, the temperature drops below 250~280℃, enters the bag dust collector, and is discharged into the atmosphere by the high-temperature fan, and the dust concentration of the discharged gas is less than 30mg/m3.
